Oakwood is a 64-unit senior community located in Castle Rock. The complex was developed in 1984 under the Rural Development 515 Program. In 2005 the Rural Development loan was pre-paid, and the complex was in danger of being converted to market-rate condominiums. The DCHP stepped in and bought the complex, thereby maintaining the affordable rents. Oakwood is comprised of both 1- and 2-bedroom units and has two clubhouses on a 3.5-acre site.

Lincoln Pointe Lofts Apartments
The need for affordable housing for workers in the Meridian International Business Center was the catalyst for development of this 133-unit apartment building. The community features a loft-style design with exposed ductwork, hardwood floors and contemporary architecture. The Douglas County Housing Partnership partnered with MBR Development in 2004 on this project. The four-story Lincoln Pointe building's units are accessed from interior corridors served by elevators.
